Help and support from the Service Desks

The Service Desks provide key support for the most popular applications as well as the academic system used in the computer rooms. They also provide 1st line support for all other IT and AV related queries in all directorates and schools to assist both students and staff.

Location and Opening Times of Service Desks

Gipsy Lane, North Library
The Gipsy Lane Service Desk is located in the North Library. If you walk past the Library Enquiry Desk and through two sets of double doors we can be found on your right.

The Service Desk is open weekdays from 8.30am to 8pm.

Semester time weekend opening times:

The weekend hours are Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4pm.No need to book just turn up!

During vacation the Service Desk is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm (4.30pm on Fridays).

Harcourt Hill, Room GLG/08
The Harcourt Hill Service Desk is located in G block near the computer rooms and the library and is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm.

Marston Road, Room MRG47
The Marston Road Service Desk is located on the ground floor just around the corner from the main Reception area. It is open weekdays from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Wheatley, in the Library

The Wheatley Service Desk is located in the Wheatley Library and is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm.

During the vacation the Service Desk runs from N104, the Service Desk back office,
